Lauren and Matthew’ wedding at The Gin Kitchen in Surrey

Taking place in the late summer of 2021, Lauren and Matthew’s wedding was a pleasure to capture.

Their day started off at Leatherhead Register Office, a venue I have worked at for a number of years now, for their ceremony.

Shortly after their ceremony and few a portraits in the Leatherhead Register Office gardens, we headed to The Gin Kitchen in Dorking, where I captured images of the couple and their guests mingling and sampling the various cocktails on offer.

This was my first time working at The Gin Kitchen (and I think, though I may be wrong), was also the first wedding to take place there.  Anyhow, it’s a lovely venue to work at, with plenty of colour, and lots of variety, making it a photographers dream.

Towards the end of the day, I had a quick scout round the surrounding area to see if there was anything I missed, and I found a field with a lovely vista, where I took a few more portraits of the happy couple, which are undeniably some of my favourite portraits that I have taken this year.
