Colin’s pictures truly captured the spirit of our relaxed and informal wedding day. He is professional, friendly and punctual, and very passionate about what he does. Christian and I don’t like being in front of the camera, and we didn’t want posed or stiff-looking photos, so Colin’s portfolio really appealed to us. We also liked the idea that he wanted to use some old film and Polaroid cameras throughout the day. His ability to remain under the radar meant he was able to capture really natural shots of us and our guests. Colin kindly got some of the pictures to me earlier than planned. He hand delivered the photos, and the photo book we received as part of our package was of an excellent quality.

Neither myself or husband are very good with posing for photos and to be honest we were a bit apprehensive about choosing a photographer for our big day. We knew how important it would be to capture those special moments forever as well as ensure we got all the appropriate group shots, but didn’t want this to detract from us actually enjoying the day. We needn’t have worried, Colin was great from start to finish. He was keen to ensure we captured all the group photos we wanted but with minimum of fuss on the day. We also got some really lovely shots of just the two of us which I don’t even remember posing for. Throughout the rest of the day Colin was always there in the background but never interfering. We are so happy with the final shots, can’t stop looking at them to remind us of our best day ever. All the photos were presented in a personalised USB memory box and an online link so we could share with the family. In addition Colin gave us some instant mini print previews which I was able to take away on our honeymoon which was a very special touch. In summary, we both really couldn’t recommend Colin enough for your big day or any special occasion.
Colin is a fantastic photographer with a talent for capturing the intimate moments that you would otherwise forget on your big day. When we received our photos, Colin hand delivered all of them and went through everything. After such an amazing day after months of planning its great to have those memories recorded in such a beautiful yet natural way. We would highly recommend Colin for a wedding or any event and the photos just simply speak for themselves. Colin is an absolute diamond who did a fantastic job of documenting our informal, relaxed wedding day. We were toying with the idea of not having a professional wedding photographer at all but when we saw Colin’s photos by chance we decided to ask if he was free to shoot for part of the day, and we’re so delighted that he was! Colin combines attention to detail with extremely high professional standards and a friendly, unobtrusive approach to wedding photography that delivers results without hours of forced posing or waiting around. We have so many beautiful photos from the day, but some of our favourites are of friends and family who usually dread having their photo taken – Colin subtly and quietly took perfect portrait after portrait of the people we love and we’ve ended up with a set of photos that we’ll enjoy looking at over and over. It’s also worth mentioning that they were edited and in our hands well within the timescale Colin set out, so we didn’t have to wait long at all for these beautiful mementos from our day. We couldn’t recommend Colin highly enough.
Colin was my first choice to take the photos at our wedding. Having been at college with Colin and being his friend on Facebook, it allowed me to see some of the photos he’d taken at other people’s weddings and it was just the style we wanted. As someone who hates having their photo taken, I was dreading spending what was supposed to be the happiest day of my life doing something I hated. All that fake smiling for the family album just wasn’t us. We wanted to be able to relax and enjoy our first hours as husband and wife with those closest to us – yet know that memories were being made without us even knowing. Colin was able to capture those moments perfectly without being intrusive. That moment you share between each other when you think no one is watching. Well Colin was, and captured it perfectly. Now I know what my husband sees when I smile at him and only him. It’s true what they say. Dance like no one’s watching because those are memories you’ll want to keep forever and Colin helped us make them. Thank you.

Yesterday we received our wedding photos from Colin and we were truly blown away with the stunning images and moments he captured.
